Blasters for Bravery

FREE adults-only Nerf night supporting firefighters

Usually, the kids get all the fun. This time, the grown-ups get the playground. And it’s all for the brave women and men who show up when our communities need them most. 💜🧑‍🚒

Join us at 📍LMP Wellington for Blasters for Bravery, a free adults-only Nerf night supporting firefighter communities locally and elsewhere. Fires have touched so many families, neighborhoods, and open spaces across Northern Colorado and beyond, and this event is one small way for us to gather in gratitude for the firefighters who protect our homes, our towns, and the wild places we love. And to have a lil fun ourselves while we’re at it 😉

Come have a blast (Nerf pun intended), eat, give, and help us show some big love to the brave.

• Who: Adults only, 21+

• Cost: Free to attend with direct donation stations set up for your convenience

• Prize giveaway: Every attendee will be automatically entered into our prize giveaway

• Food: Dinner and non-alcoholic refreshments will be available on the upper level throughout the event

What to expect

6:00 to 7:45pm: Nerf wars and dinner

We’ll open up the playground for adults-only Nerf wars. Bring your own Nerf blaster, and we’ll supply thousands of darts and eye protection*. Dinner will be available upstairs throughout the event, so guests can take breaks, eat, mingle, check out prizes, and donate at their own pace.

7:45pm: Live prize giveaway

Stick around after the prize giveaway until 8:30pm to keep eating, connecting, having a 🎯blast, and supporting the firefighters who mean so much to our local communities.

*Everyone must wear eye protection when on the lower level

We will have stations for you to donate directly to:

• Wildland firefighters via the Wildland Firefighter Foundation

• Wellington Fire Protection District via (TBD)

• Windsor Severance Fire Rescue General Fund

We are deeply grateful for the firefighters who run toward danger, protect our communities, and support families through some of their hardest moments. As a family-centered business, we’re especially moved by the example they set for our kids, showing them what courage, service, teamwork, and care for your neighbors can look like in real life. From local emergency response to wildland fire recovery, these organizations represent bravery in action and remind us what it means to show up for one another.

Standard playground rules

Even though this is a grown-ups-only night, our standard playground rules still apply. All guests must remove shoes and wear socks inside the playground. You may wear whatever socks you want, but we strongly recommend grippy socks for Nerf enthusiasts. We will have grippy socks available for sale.

All guests must also sign our standard safety waiver before entering the playground, whether they plan to participate in Nerf wars or simply attend the event.

Autism and neurodivergent families, please join us outside of our normal operating hours at our Windsor location for our sensory friendly hours:

• Rope lighting only (all other lights turned off)

• No music

• Low capacity: pre-registration required, maximum of 12 kiddos

• Cozy corner with a compression sensory pod, weighted blanket, and sensory bubble lamp

Petals & Play

Bloom Bar NoCo is coming to 📍LMP Windsor!!

Join us for a fun morning of flowers and play. Kids will make their own mini flower arrangement, decorate a vase, and enjoy open play at Lil Monsters Playground. Parents can join in, too, with an optional fuller flower arrangement add-on, so you can create alongside your child.

Child ticket includes:

Nerf wars: teen session

• Nerf wars on the main level

  • Bring your own Nerf blaster and we’ll provide the darts. You must wear eye protection while participating in Nerf wars—bring your own eye protection or borrow some of ours. We will have a few spare blasters to borrow if you don’t have one, but availability is limited.

• Shuffleboard upstairs

  • Take a break from the nerf wars and enjoy some shuffleboard or tabletop curling in our upstairs area.

Bonus: we will be taking your music requests all night, too!!

• $15 at the door (no pre-registration required)

• Target age range: 13 to 17 years old

• Doors will be locked from the outside from 6:45pm to 8:25pm

• We welcome and encourage caregivers to stay on site and relax in some of our comfy seating around the playground (and to help chaperone the event). As we are not a childcare facility, if you choose to leave your independent, mature minor unaccompanied, you will need to sign our Unaccompanied Minor Waiver & Acknowledgement waiver, and our Emergency Contact form, in addition to our standard safety waiver. Only minors 13 years old and older may be left unaccompanied. If you choose to leave your minor unaccompanied, we will also collect your personal cell phone number, an additional emergency contact, and we will need you to commit to being available by phone for the duration of the event should we need you to come pick up your minor for any reason. Please use your parental discretion when choosing whether to leave your 13+ year old unaccompanied or not. For example, if you know your teen has a hard time following rules independently, we would prefer if you stayed on site. If you have a mature 12-year-old, we welcome them to attend as well, but you will be required to stay on site with your 12-year-old.

  • Please sign all waivers/forms in advance if possible to help speed up check-in

• Other playground rules also apply:
